Tinnahinch Fly Fishing Centre

TD&H is a cozy, informal place and corresponded pretty well to my expectations. It's very close to a stop on a regular city bus line that goes to the airport, which was handy, and about a 20 minute walk from the center of town (City Hall, Dublin Castle, etc.). One thing I wasn't totally prepared for was the long, fairly steep staircase that has to be negotiated to get to the rooms and that is a distinct challenge with a suitcase! Fortunately, the receptionist gave me a hand on the way up -- thanks for that -- and I managed ok on the way down. :-)

We didn’t got the room we first had booked, but did get a discount.. we was not satisfied with it- the room we got instead was a handicap room, and we had a hard time standing up in the shower, due to a chair in the middle of the shower. The breakfast that we had included, was not very good so we didn’t eat there dont ordre the breakfast go to some of the small coffee shops in town. The staff was very friendly. But we will never stay at this hotel again.
