"Situated very good at the Baywater front and close to restaurants, shopping and the historic places. Very friendly and serviceminded staff. Big room and BIG bathroom but missed the opportunity to open the window for fresh air and to have made the room daily. Anyhow The Doubble Tree must be recommended. "

"Difficult to find and very problematic checking in. Digital check in never opened for me. The only way I was able to get into my room was that I was let in by a management person. I didn’t leave for dinner because I was afraid I’d be locked out. I wanted to drop my luggage around noon so I could see the sites without suitcase in tow but since there is no on site staff and no check in until 4 that was not possible. Please come up with a solution for travelers who need to store luggage. "

"I always enjoy staying here. Historic building with character. Spacious and comfortable room. Very good service. Breakfast is a little pricey, but it is worth it: one is paying not just for the quality of the food, but also the ambience: proper table service (instead of the ubiquitious buffet) in a wonderful breakfast room. Cannot wait to return."

"Very clean, amazing hotel, love the decor, love all the fancy lights in the rooms. Shower could of been hotter. Plenty of choice for the breakfast buffet, only thing we couldn't work out was the coffee machine pod. There was noise coming from outside but that was from the binmen I believe and it was at 6 30am on a Sunday morning , which I didn't want waking up at that time. Other than that it was a comfortable night and will be back again"
