"We saw many beautiful birds while on the property. The gated community of villas is quite charming and tranquil with a view of the lake. "The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —...

"The place was absolutely great! The location is amazing and has amazing views of the volcano. Breakfast is also really nice with omelette station and waffles and then a nice buffet of various fruit and Costa Rican dishes. The only downer was that the WiFi in our cabin didn’t work well and the floor boards creaked a lot which was a bit much during the night. But wouldn’t stop me from recommending staying here. "
