"The house was huge and very private. The views were great from the house. Easy to get to downtown Merida and wineries from the house. Hosts were very friendly and communicative. "

"The host is very attentive and eager for you to enjoy your stay. We liked being in the country. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is very close to a big grocery store. I think this location gives you good access to nearby areas (Serra Mamede for example) well as the points of interest in Portalegre. We really enjoyed the textile museum. Aida provided us with jams, oranges, and croissants for breakfast. It was a nice stay."

"Very unique place near (or perhaps in) the old Jewish quarter of Castello da Vide. The drive to get here is along the narrow streets of the town so best to have a mid size car or smaller. The property is neat! You have stairs but it adds tons of charm and character. Kitchen is terrific. Best part would be 1.) proximity to castle and Jewish quarter 2.) views from your window and patio! Worth a visit."

"A vida cultural vibrante de Castelo de Vide com mercado, exibição de curtas metragens de Rafaé, concerto de rua da banda local e o passeio de reconhecimento de plantas da Joana Vitória não nos permitiu usufruir o suficiente das Casas do Miramonte. Impecavelmente equipada e com muito bom gosto com o conforto da modernidade mas a autenticidade da tradição deixou -nos um sabor a pouco e muita vontade de regressar. A simpatia do anfitrião António Mimoso também é de assinalar pela sua flexibilidade e...

"Für alles ist gesorgt ob Frühstück, Gewürze, Spül- und Waschmittel. Alles pikobello sauber alles super in Schuss, und gut gelegen. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil um die Gegend um besichtigen. Die Vermieter sind sehr, sehr um unsere Wohlbefinden bemüht"

"Best hosts ever. Was greeted by owner's father and mother. We were shown the property and asked if we wanted a fire lit while we were out seeing the ruins. And we had a warm cozy home to return to. Homemade marmalade, wonderful cheese and meats. Homemade pound cake, good thing we only stayed one night we could get fat."

"Property was very clean and very well equipped. Swimming pool was good size and very welcome after a hot day's walking or sightseeing. Location was perfect for exploring local area on foot or by car. Susana was the perfect hostess"
