"The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night."

"Our stay at Herons watch was wonderful. The house was clean and stocked with everything we could ever want and need. We brought our boat and launched it at the bridge which was easy and the ride on the lake back to the house was smooth and easy. The views are awesome. We enjoyed family meals and sitting on the porch , had a camp fire, played games, fished and relaxed. I highly recommend this home for a quality vacation thank you"

"We were 8 people coming to VT to watch our girls play lacrosse at Middlebury. The house is as pictured and perfect for large groups. We really had a great time, it was spacious and perfect for hanging out with a large group. We wished the weather was better so we could use the fire pit. The owner of the property was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. We would all definitely stay here again and recommend a stay at this house. "The Yurt was scenic, peaceful, and picturesque with everything we needed. A Blue Heron visited us daily, as did the ducks on the pond outside the Yurt. Complete with warmth for the cold nights and all the equipment to store and prepare food, we were able to see some local attractions and go back and forth to and from the Yurt conveniently. Brett and Alicia were wonderful hosts, giving us our privacy but always available. We did some fishing and hiking and visited the Natural Stone Bridge in...
