"The garden is beautiful with a variety of birds and wild life. The spa and gym club is excellent. The staff are great and the hotel is good value.i have stayed several times in recent years and always have a great time. Many thanks to all who make it such a pleasure to return time after time. "I’ve not had a good time in the lock down booking with hotels.com , and after several failures as a key worker I found this place . Wish I’d gone directly to them and not given Hotels.com the credit of this review. The Premises was exceptional with all mod cons, very clean everything you need to do whilst working away . Well enjoyed my visit "

"A hidden gem! Stopped here for a night on route to Cardiff for the Oasis reunion tour. Totally exceeded our expectations. It was a lovely friendly place, with nicely renovated features, tasty food and great value (Mon-Thurs 3 courses for £20). The breakfast was exceptional also. A great stay and excellent value for money "

Great big bedrooms with two desks for laptops.
Excellent breakfast and good dinner, which unfortunately wasn't available on weekends.
We never got the Wi-fi to work, as you had to make an account for connecting."

"Stayed here for one night with my 1 year old.although they forgot to put a cot in, when I asked they were extremely quick to follow up on this and being a cot a d get it set up.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Clean and spacious rooms. Mainly comfy although no air con in the room and it was roasting so had a rough night.
The surrounding area is great, the food I. The restaurant is brilliant.
All in all a very comfortable stay and would definitely look at staying here again if...

Servicen er måske den dårligste jeg nogensinde har oplevet: ingen smil, ingen velkommen, absolut intet. Vender ikke tilbage"

"Vi blev tildelt ryger værelser, på trods af at vi havde bedt om ikke ryger værelser. Da vi påpegede dette fik vi at vide, at der stod i hotellets betingelser at de kunne ændre ikke ryger til ryger uden at behøve at informere gæsterne og at de i øvrigt ikke havde andre værelser ledige. Efter en lang og til tider ophidset diskussion fik vi 2 ikke ryger værelser, men med enkeltsenge.
På intet tidspunkt beklagede de at værelserne ikke var som vi havde bestilt og resten af ugen følte vi os ikke...

"A lovely hotel. Very nice staff. However in the room the floor was not washed at there was an old puddle of some pop on the floor. There was was some marks on the pillow but this looked more like wear and tear. It did not bother us enough to contact the staff. The bathroom was large and spacious which was nice and good quality soaps "
"Staying at The Alan was such a delight! I arrived late, but Komal at the front desk was very welcoming and sweet. She even upgraded my room. Perfect beginning for my stay. Everyone was friendly, and the location was great. Room was spacious, had super cool decor and all in all everything was very positive. Big regards to James Sullivan and his whole team as well. Will defintely return, and I highly recommend staying at The Alan :)"
