"Great location and the space itself has potential, but the experience with the host and the condition of the unit was disappointing. The host did not respond to any messages before or during our stay when we tried to address several concerns. At one point, a man entered the space unannounced saying he was there to fix the smoke alarm, which was concerning since we had not been notified. "Our stay started off poorly, as the host had us checking in a day late, when clearly the reservation was correct. Then, he would not respond to my messages or to VRBO when they called him repeatedly. We had to wait at the airport for an hour while VRBO attempted to contact him. Finally, they were able to reach him and we received our check in information. Upon arrival, the unit was not very clean as there was long brown hair in both showers. In addition, there was a strong sewage smell...

"No elevator, expensive for the quality of the accommodation. "

"The host was great - responded very quickly to questions both before and during our stay! It was below zero outside the whole weekend, and the heat worked well, no issues! Very cozy condo. Also, great wireless and hot water/water pressure. Both bathrooms were especially nice. I recommend backpacks or shoulder bags for carrying luggage up the back spiral stairs from your car (nice to have a parking spot). Also, note the back stairs are to the right of the parking spot when facing the building....

"Our host was so wonderfully accommodating in being responsive to our needs. The apartment is located over a small bar. Nothing got rowdy but a little white noise was helpful during the night. The beds were super firm. The heating system worked well which was helpful since the single pane windows didn’t provide much insulation especially the one that was partially sealed with paper towels. We were thankful for the shopping bags under one of the legs of the pool table which helped to level it...

"The property was in a wonderful location! The place was beautiful and comfortable but could use a few things. For example, put in some hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels, fix the towel bar in the middle bedroom, put a longer shower curtain in the walk in shower, put outlets in the large bedroom bathroom and dressing area,and fix the whistling sound from the AC unit! "Great spacious apartment, with a full kitchen. Area is also great, close to supermarkets and lots of cafes and restaurants. The old Quebec area is a bit of walk away, around 20mun. But for the price and comfort it is worth it."
