The inn dates back to the 1800's and four U.S. Presidents have stayed here. Located 22 minutes from Saratoga Racetrack and 45 minutes from Lake George, we loved being able to explore the area and return to this quiet inn. "The hotel was kept very clean, had a nice fresh feeling throughout. The room was large and had a kitchen with everything you need, they even offer grocery shopping and delivery. Will definitely stay here again when in town. "

"The breakfast was great. The ladies kept the eggs coming out and the coffee was brewed to perfection. The staff were very knowledgeable; (they explained they couldn't take my AARP for a discount; I had to use it while I was booking our room. Also explained why they charged for our daughter, who is 16, again had to show when booking, everyone had a smile Our daughter & her cousin enjoyed the hot tub. The rooms, bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels."

"The staff was really nice friendly and helpful. The pool was great. I wish there would been fruit at breakfast or something that wasnt carb based a bit more variety would be better. The bed was comfy and room was clean. We were treated very well. I will be coming back likely in Aug. It is far from train n bus station though. City buses stop at front door the express ones."
