"The breakfast was great. The ladies kept the eggs coming out and the coffee was brewed to perfection. The staff were very knowledgeable; (they explained they couldn't take my AARP for a discount; I had to use it while I was booking our room. Also explained why they charged for our daughter, who is 16, again had to show when booking, everyone had a smile Our daughter & her cousin enjoyed the hot tub. The rooms, bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels."

The inn dates back to the 1800's and four U.S. Presidents have stayed here. Located 22 minutes from Saratoga Racetrack and 45 minutes from Lake George, we loved being able to explore the area and return to this quiet inn. "everything was fine, no issues during the stay. only thing is when we checked out, there was nobody at the office window at 9:40 a.m. I rang the bell 3 times in about 5 minutes and no one ended up coming to the window. I put the 2 key cards through the plexiglass window and just left. hopefully that is the way to do it!"

"The manager called me during the day to make sure we were still coming. Had a very friendly conversation. We arrived at 11 pm. He greeted me and was very kind. We had been nervous about a late arrival but he assured us he would be there till midnight. This level of thoughtfulness makes me very grateful. "

"The staff was really nice friendly and helpful. The pool was great. I wish there would been fruit at breakfast or something that wasnt carb based a bit more variety would be better. The bed was comfy and room was clean. We were treated very well. I will be coming back likely in Aug. It is far from train n bus station though. City buses stop at front door the express ones."
