There is no B&B front desk; rather, one mentions “we’re staying with you” to the bustling tearoom staff, and someone appears immediately to give you a cheerful welcome to the establishment. Located above the absolutely booming Teahouse on the ground floor, the two upstairs B&B suites are accessed through a side entrance and some stairs. Upstairs, each of the two roomy suites has its own bedroom, living room, and ensuite, and both are full of furniture, books, antiques, and...

"Had a wonderful stay at The Dabbling Duck. Our room was lovely and clean with a great view of the Village Green. The staff, who were extremely busy serving Sunday lunch were very polite and helpful. We had a booking in the restaurant, where the food was amazing, as was the breakfast. Over all, this is a stunning place to stay and chill, absolutely loved it, 10/10."

Vi håber dog, at hotels.com vil gøre bedre opmærksom på, at man skal kontakte stedet før ankomst, da man eller sikke kan komme ind. Vi ankom kl. 15 (indtjekningstid) og måtte stå ude i regnen i næsten en halv time, før vi blev lukket ind af nogle andre gæster, der tilfældigvis var der. Vi havde prøvet at ringe på hovednummeret, men der blev ikke svaret, så vi anede ikke, hvad vi skulle gøre. En af gæsterne havde et mobilnummer...

"The room was very clean and comfortable, and the owners friendly and accommodating. The property was strategically located for our activities, including Sandringham, Houghton Hall and Gardens, and the Hunstanton through to Wells Next to the Sea area. It was convenient to our ancestral homes in Swaffham and Deopham. Went to the Samphire just over 1/2 mile down the road for a nice dinner. Picked up a few items at the shop across the street. Met some friendly couples at breakfast."
