Kroer i Thatcham

"We really really liked The Carpenters Arms, and we will definitely be back. We had a beautiful room, on the ground level, with a cosy vibe that reminded us of a summerhouse. Right outside our room we had a simi private space with a table and chairs. We just loved that. The staff were incredible and the food at the restaurant was great. The place is a bit remote, so it was not easy to find a nice and safe place to walk our dog at night, as they drive very fast in England. We just walked her in...

"Super"

"We stayed here one night as my niece was getting married and having her wedding venue just down the road in the village Hall. The room was lovely, very clean and every thing you would need, to a very high standard. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on that."

"Food, staff and vibe was amazing however i was not paticularly impressed with the accommodation. A bit tired and stuffy"

"Nice location and pub, service in top, food great, rooms nice but small and quirky. Area rural but beautiful and only a couple of miles into a small town"

"Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. "

"Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was modern and had all the usual facilities."

"Sikken en dejlig oplevelse igen, var her i slutning af Januar og var meget tilfreds med hel oplevelse. Især kan jeg fremhæve personellet, altid smilende og hjælpsom samtidig med at være top professionel.ivi komme glædelig tilbage. "
