"The :Driftwood: cottage we rented was perfect! So clean and well appointed. We were there to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday with our daughter, son in law and 3 year old granddaughter. The indoor pool and hot tub were a huge hit with the granddaughter! We played golf, went to the beach, bbq'd grwat food and relaxed well. Beds were very comfortable. Judy was wonderful t communicate with. Will reccomend to friends and family"

"This is a fully equipped cozy cabin deep in the woods but still close to the road. The owner took us up to it and was very cordial. It is perfect for a couples getaway in the Parksville/Qualicum area. RIght up the road from the local market and across from the rodeo grounds. We stayed here because it is centrally located for exploring Vancouver Island and a 2 hour drive to Pacific Rim. If you like privacy you can't ask for more. "

"Very nice cabin, could accommodate family with kids. Close to beach, but view obstructed by row of smaller cabins directly in front. Close to Salish Market in Bowser, and also Qualicum Beach. Good amenities, kitchen well appointed for cooking, grilling, baking. Very pleasant stay."

"Cottage was clean, with lots of everyday needs available. It was spacious and has a great layout. If there is something that’s not there downtown is close by. Also it’s in a great location to access beaches, and a short distance to Departure Bay ferry terminal. It’s in a quiet setting with green belts between complexes so it’s quiet and serene. Good deal for the price. Will like to come back. "

"It was delightful to stay at this quaint little cabin! It's well appointed with everything needed, and the location right on the beach is ideal. I had the pleasure of watching eagles, herons, seals, sea otters, and many more forms of wildlife right out the front window. The cozy fireplace is a great added touch for the cool evenings. If you seek quiet, solitude, and a beautiful venue to re-charge, this place is for you. "

"We had a wonderful girls trip at the Slow Go. It was a little tricky to find, as the entrance isn’t immediately visible especially in the dark but once we got familiar with the surroundings it was no problem! The property was lovely, great fire pit, well-stocked and comfy cabin. Being close to the highway meant it got a bit noisy at times but not bad at all. The host was wonderful to communicate with when we had to troubleshoot a situation with the lock and fixed it right away. Would recommend...

"What a gem! Gorgeous property in an awesome location. Have your morning coffee on the sun dappled deck or walk to the beach and watch the tide come in. A short walk to the General store and farmers market. Great kitchen, with a BBQ just outside the door. We loved roasting marshmallows on the gas fire pit in the garden, looking up at the stars. Thank you for the amazing holiday Susan! Can’t wait to book our next vacation!"
