"The loft was very cozy and perfect for a couples getaway. Well appointed, very clean and the bed was so big and comfortable with beautiful views of the cove. Alex and Siobhan were attentive hosts. We were close to Camden, Rockport and Rockland. Great dining choices and beautiful lighthouses as well as various art galleries. We would definitely return again. "

The location, in the very heart of Boothbay Harbor, could not have been better. Little shops and great restaurants lined the streets, Our hosts, Mark and Patty could be reached in person or by text at any time. They were wonderful hosts. "My wife and i really enjoyed our stay. This is the second time we have stayed in this location and would definitely recommend this place. Its close to downtown. You can park your car when you show up and never need it till you leave. Clean and very comfortable. We were out all day and relaxed in front of the TV watching the games during the evening. My wife and i arrived earlier then expected and the host allowed us to check in early. Which was super accommodating!!! 5 "

"Shipbuilder’s Retreat is a lovely property with plenty of space to spread out. The space was sparkling clean, well designed, and very comfortable. The property is a duplex (separated by two single car garages adding sound insulation and privacy) nestled in the woods but with very nice landscaping. It is close to shopping, downtown Boothbay, and access to local sites making it very convenient while still being tucked away. "Super clean and comfortable apartment. Plenty of, and easy parking. Good location close to anywhere you might want to go in the Midcoast area. Very responsive host. What is accurately listed, but for those planning a longer stay just remember that there’s no washer dryer plenty of laundromats in the area if you need them."

"Everything perfect except bad toaster and TV’s were difficult to figure out for old people. We either needed a teenager or better instructions. Beds, sheets, etc were excellent. Bathroom and showers were excellent. Wonderful apartment, lots of room and excellent setup for 2 couples. Location was perfect. We walked everywhere."
