"We were a family of five so there was lots of space for us. It was nice to stay up a bit later and have kids go to sleep in the bedroom. Host’s communication was excellent. Check in was fairly easy. The entry to the building and stairwell were very underwhelming and you have to carry luggage up two flights of stairs. The unit was as it is described and is older. Some of the trim needs to be painted or replaced. Mixed area nearby with a rec centre and lots of coffee shops and delis."

"Decent space , unique checkin process, overall ok place"

"The place was in very bad condition. It is an old apartment that needs update, cockroaches, running in the kitchen and the bathroom. Bathroom, caulking, mold everywhere It is not something that I will rent again"

"Oyo is a good place to stay in the heart of Times Square if you don’t want to spend a fortune. It’s especially good for a single traveler just coming for Broadway shows. The rooms are very tiny (but good for one). The only complaint is the mattress-it feels like a sleeper sofa (a hideaway bed that is thin and noisy.) "Great location and smooth check in/check out! Would def stay again!"

"5 adults stayed for 6 days. Pros: Comfortable beds, even the temporary bed . Great location near major tourist locations. Great a/c Cons: It is a cozy 2 bedroom. It’s was snug. It served our needs. If we travel to New York again we would stay again."

"First and most important, this is NOT a one bedroom apartment. It is very clearly a studio. I asked the host prior to our stay to clarify this and they said that it is a one bedroom with a wall and a door between the living space and the bedroom. They lied. The check-in was a nightmare because we were told that the key lock was on a bike rack near the place. It was a block away on a steel rack around a tree. We had to try several locks before we found the right one. The sheets, comforters...
