"Stay was really good. Property was easy to find and locate. Leigh-Anne gave us detailed instructions of how to locate key for property and some nice welcome touches when we arrived.Place is beautifully decorated and kept and right next to the beach which was ideal for the dog.Would highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a nice quiet relaxing break away."

"Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. Cottage well kitted out with kitchen utensils etc. Gillian and Michael excellent hosts and phoned before we arrived during and when leaving to ensure all was going well. "Mo and Al were amazing hosts. They made us feel like relatives they havent seen in a while. We had a welcome pkg of fresh eggs, and vegetables from their garden. Mo's home made Victorian cake was to die for. The cottage was very large and had amazing views. In a great location for short day trips. We will be staying there again in the future."

"Had a wonderful stay, house is in the perfect location. Great wee pub around the corner! House is quirky but everything you would need. Hot tub was a great bonus especially as some of the party had just walked 54 miles in the Cateran Yomp👣. Would definitely book this property again."

"Beautiful and very tranquil location. The apartment was big but a bit outdated. When we arrived we were informed the restaurant was closed (it’s apparently closed twice a week) and all shops in the town closed. Nothing would open until 9am the next day and the hotel does not offer breakfast. Very surprised that an expensive hotel like this does not offer a better service. This was quite a problem for us (we have small kids), would have been great to know this in advance. That being said I could imagine coming back in the future. "
