"Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Did not say that all but one double bed were in the same room… so my husband and 24 year old son had to take one room, and sleep in a double bed! And us girls had to take the other one. Assumed there would be 3 bedrooms? Anyway, nice stay. Think Hotels.com should mention only enough wood and kindling for one heat, so had...

"Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories."

"The approach to the property alone sets the scene for an experience. The property is lovely with so much room and many amenities. The view across the loch was breathtaking. Lucky enough to see deer and seals from the bedroom windows. The house stayed warm through the storms which even for the area were pretty extreme according to the locals. Absolutely nothing requires complaint it was a brilliant property. Definitely great for hide and seek lol"
