Summary:
Step inside this family friendly home located in the highly sought after Acacia Bay. With a short walk to the pristine waters of Lake Taupō and a 2-minute drive to Acacia Bay boat ramp. Set, with family in mind, with two living areas and a deck with views of the lake, this is the place to relax, unwind and enjoy the company of loved ones. Bring the boat and the lake toys or a book and in winter and be an hour from the ski fields.
The Space:
PLEASE NOTE – This property is STRICTLY not suitable for parties, events, or loud groups.
The home has a staggered floorplan across three levels, boasting two living areas so the kids can have their own space to play with the provided board games, jigsaws, or table tennis table, or to watch TV/DVD’s.
There are two bedrooms on the second level, one with a king bed and the other a queen bed with a bathroom, encompassing a toilet, in between. The downstairs level consists of a living area, a third bedroom with a set of bunks, double on the bottom and single on top, separate laundry, and access to the second toilet in the internal access garage. The top level takes advantage of the morning sun and views to the lake and township with open plan living, dining and kitchen areas.
There is complimentary WIFI, tea and coffee facilities to be enjoyed during your stay. You will have access to, and use of, the entire house including the garage, with off street carparking, for the jetski or boat.
Two heat pumps in each of the living areas ensure you keep comfortable all year round and a fire downstairs for those cooler months.
High quality linen is hired for all our guests. All beds are made up with a towel and face cloth for each guest, but please bring your own towel for the beach or pools.
Guest Access:
The whole home is yours to access and enjoy. You will have access to and use of the entire house including the garage, and an off street carparking + jetski or boat parking.
The Neighborhood:
This a family friendly quiet area with a short walk to the dairy and The Bay Bar & Brasserie, local walks/biking paths along the waterfront or to the Taupō township, or you can get to the Taupō town Centre within a 10-minute drive..
Other Things to Note:
For the active traveller the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is approximately a 1.5-hour drive away. Rotorua is also only a one-hour drive away, and Hawkes Bay within 1.5-hours drive there is great an opportunity for an easy day of sightseeing. The Waitomo Glowworm Caves are also a 2 hours’ drive and Hobbiton in Matamata being 1.5-hours away this makes Taupō the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.
Interaction with Guests:
We like to give our guests their privacy but Kerry is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency.
