"Beautiful location. Sauna takes a bit of work to get going and approx 1.5hrs to reach temp. Kitchen is semi equipped. No microwave. BYO condiments and spices etc required for any cooking. 3 bulls in nearby pasture, didn't see any other wildlife during our stay. Great for star gazing on a clear night. We enjoyed our 2 nights there. "

"Well maintained & fitted out farmhouse 30-40 mins to Ulverston and Devonport. Friendly & welcoming host who was adaptable & responsive to our last minute check in time change! We had a power outage during our stay & Alison was quick to try & smooth out the challenges that created on a rural property. Thank you "

"A lovely old homestead surrounded by welcoming lawn and gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious & charmingly rustic. It suited the needs of our extended family of 7 adults & 4 children. Our only disappointment was a few basic items that were missing .. there was no salt & pepper, cooking oil & an inadequate supply of toilet paper for the length of stay we’d booked for 11 people. "It was inclement weather, but I was tucked up warmly inside, great selection of warm drinks and loaf of homemade bread to keep me happy, thank you to the owners. The breakfast selection was great too. I would’ve loved to look around, a beautiful area, but the weather was wild."
