Good location

The house is in a good location for a quiet trip. The pool and hot tub are great amenities. The kayaks are a great addition as well but a little hard to launch from the dock. Great spot to fish as well. The owner was very responsive of any questions we had. Anna maria is a great beach to visit for the day. The house overall was a good fit for my group size wise. The washer and dryer was a little confusing but the owner helped teach us what to do.

This property represents a serious failure of the standards advertised on the Vrbo platform.I feel strongly compelled to warn potential renters to avoid this listing. Beautiful home in sunny Florida

The house is on a quiet dead end street with very friendly neighbors. The screened pool was in excellent condition and a constant 88 degrees. Sunsets from the dock area were beautiful. The host and hostess were very responsive to my requests. I was very comfortable there for many weeks.

Quiet Area

Home is nice, pool was warm (paid extra), communication with host was excellent and they were very friendly and helpful. I would say that as a host to make your clients more comfortable:Some tropical comforters/ pillows in the master, overall a lighter brighter decor, as most of us are from the grey north and we yearn for a taste of the tropics… ha even if just with beach prints inside. As for the pool area maybe fix up the waterfall and add a couple loungers for mature adults Replace pavers with something smoother,, the bricks are kinda icky. But overall nice home , plenty of space, very warm Pool, attentive owners!

Owner was great to communicate. Internet was in and out at the house most of the stay-tv requires internet. Hot tub had sand in it from the 'sand yard'...also hot tub had to be preheated for 30 min prior to u wanting it hot. 'Sand' area is outside of the lanai this completely swarmed with bugs so it was unusable. The laundry required payment (we knew) but didnt realize it was gonna be $2.50 per wash and $2 per dry. I usually wash owners towels used in the pool often but this forced me not to. We used the washer and it was great but chose to air dry our clothes outside. Kitchen was stocked well although as with most rentals the knife selection didnt cut so i would take your own. The bed with full bottom twin top is metal and was so squeaky my kids couldnt sleep on it withojt waking each other up. Fishing was fair from the dock, although the dock lights did not work. This property was not bad by far. We have stayed in 5 or 6 other florida properties that have had much bigger issues. This review is simply for the nit picky mommas who like me wanna know EVERYTHING 🙃

Great place to stay! We would stay again!

Christmas vacation 12/20-12/27/23. We had a good stay and loved the location! I would give it 4.5 stars. The communication was good and they responsive to our needs. The hot tub was a game changer and made the entire trip! It was cooler and without the warmth of the hot-tub it would have been difficult to enjoy the pool. It was completely worth the heating fee to enjoy the outside area! We were traveling with teenager/adult children (6 of us total) The sleeping configuration would be more suited to smaller children. Although the primary beds and bottom beds of the bunk beds were Ok, the upper bunks would not at all be suitable older/larger children. The waterproof mattress pads which would be beneficial for younger children was a bit noisy and very hot for teenagers. The outdoor area is as pictured. The landscape between the hot tub and pool needs to be totally revamped! Even with teenagers, they had minor injuries on the rocks between the hot tub and the pool and although I can see the vision of the landscape, it totally missed its mark. The location and ability to kayak to the bay was one of the reasons we chose this house. The kayaks needed repair but we were able to use 3/4 kayaks after some MacGyver repairs. We cooked and ate most of our meals in and there was plenty of cookware, dish-ware, and utensils. Overall, great indoor and outdoor spaces, great location and good communication with the hosts.

Perfect Accomodations

This property comes as advertised without disappointment. My family has stayed in the Apollo Beach area several times and this house was perfect for our needs. The pool and outdoor patio area were easily the best functioning systems that we have used in our travels and did not cause any issues in terms of function or water temperature maintenance (critical feature for winter months). The house itself can accommodate two families with three kids each without any trouble. The neighbors and neighborhood are safe and friendly.

Apollo Beach Home

This was the worst experience ever. We spent our first night on the property washing dirty linens. The washer and dryer were coin operated. My sister in law had a worm on her sheets under her pillow. I then went to turn down my bed and there were stains on the sheets. We were advised by the host to remove the worm and put it outside. The stains on the sheets were explained by the sheets being washed and the stains didn’t come out. We ran out of quarters for the washer and dryer! We complained to the host. They wanted to send a cleaning crew out to the property at 11:00pm at night. We declined as we had already washed sheets and felt as if the house should have been cleaned prior to our 4pm check in time. We had to ask for more quarters. One of the other guest room linens were dirty also. The next morning my brother went to take a shower at 6am and when he returned at about noon the tub was still full of water. The pool was dirty and had groups of bugs in it, and the hot tub was oily and full of beach sand. We encountered all of these issues within less than 24 hrs so we decided to leave the property. The host refused to refund our money. I had to file a dispute with pictures in order to be refunded. It was a nightmare and a total inconvenience being that we had small children.

Wonderful stay!!!

This house is in a wonderful location and there is plenty of room inside and out. We had 4 adults and 1 kid. It is right on the canal with a screened in pool and spa. Plenty of places to hang out and lots to entertain kids and adults. We paid the $150 to heat the pool and it was perfect. Would definitely recommend if looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay with plenty to do. Manatee viewing area close by, but no manatees for us to see this time. Water was too warm. But they also have a turtle rehabilitation area on the property which we got to check out. Saw beautiful turtles getting taken care of so they can be released back into their natural environment. Very neat!

Had an awesome week!

Had a great stay, beds were very comfortable, house was clean and well stocked. Rented a boat and used the lift, pool and hot tub were awesome! Einav was great to work with before we arrived, even got to check in a day early, and was quick at the last moment to get the extra billing to me so we could arrive early. That was a huge help so we didn't have to find a hotel to stay at. Our only complaint was we had to leave! Great house!! Great host!! Thanks for making an easy stay!!

Fabulous 3 weeks!

Thank you Ron & Einav for a fantastic three weeks in your amazing house! You were so attentive to our needs and responded in a quick manner! Our 1st week our grandson loved playing in the private beach while his Daddy exercised & the rest of the time he lived in the pool! We loved the gate which prevented him (4 year old) from being able to get to the pool! We also appreciated the huge selection of life jackets from infants to adults. With all the TV’s our grandson could watch his shows while Mom, Dad, Grandma & Grandpa watched their shows. The kitchen was equipped with spices, oils & all the pans, cooking utensils, glasses & dishes we needed. The last two weeks we spent with my husbands old high-school classmate and his wife. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool everyday (we had perfect weather)! The house was situated perfectly so both of us had joint space but also had total privacy with we wanted it! The added bonus was you changed the spa controls so we didn’t have to bother you to turn it on! Thank you again for the wonderful 3 weeks!

Did not meet expectations, and is in need of a lot of TLC.

I would like everyone know about this overly priced property before you book. We were originally going to stay on Marco Island but due to hurricane Ian we had to switch our plans last second. This property was not only more expensive but also a major let down. There is no beach near the property within 5 minutes, the beach that's "listed" is a neighborhood with a canal. The closest beach to the property that was worth the time is about 25 minutes away. The hot tub runs on a 3 hour schedule and after that schedule completes, it's cold and won't be available again until the next set schedule. Bricks around the pool area are all popping up and are an extreme hazard for falling and tripping with kids. The beach on the property was covered in ground hornets. The owner did send out the grounds keeper. He said there was nothing that could be done at the time of our stay. That part of the property we were not able to use at all the whole week we were there. We also had to spray for cockroaches on the outside which we killed 2. They list they have kayaks and a paddle board, all 4 kayaks have broken back rests and are practically unusable and fill with water quickly. The fan on the outside is covered in mold and dust. The pool "waterfall" is held up by spray foam which is completly visable, this was a horrible execution of this and needs to be rebuilt. All the tiles are loose and if a kid grabs on to one of these can seriously get injured. If that doesn't trouble you make your way to the inside of the house where we had to purchase our own hand soap, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, and basic utensils for cooking. The blinds in the bathroom don't go down far enough so everyone can see you using the restroom from pool side. All the blinds are broken in the bedrooms. The bed sheets are extremely used and are very scratchy, pilled and dont even fit the mattress well on the second king bed. We also noticed the smell of urine in that bedroom. Flip up the couch cushions and see what lurks under there if you dare. We travel alot as a family and have been to many different properties and I've never filled out a negative review. We had really high hopes for this property. Especially with the money paid for this place. I will say I communicated with the owner and he appreciated hearing all of our concerns. He promised he would address the issues immediately. If you are thinking of renting this property I would contact the owner first to make sure everything was done

Horrible Host

We had to leave early as the filters of he home were so full of dust and mold it effected our allergies and breathing. The host was not helpful and flippantly replied that he would have had his maintenance crew come and change out the filters. Needless to say it would take a lot more than changing the filters to clear the ducts and system of all the mold and dust. Additionally the furniture and cushion had stains. The bath mats were filthy - when you flipped them over you could see urine and fece on the backsides. As a prior guest mentioned the cabinets are filthy. The pavers that were commented on remain in despair These reviews were several months old and still had NOT been addressed by the host so I had lost confidence in his dedication to make sure we had a clean safe place to stay. We paid yo have the pool heated but he wouldn’t maintain the heat so every morning it was cold again. The washer and dryer are coin operated which the hosts hides way down in his description - most honest people put a $ sign by any amenities that cost extra instead of misleading by putting it under provided amenities and then clarifies way below that they are coin operated. He controls the air and it can’t go below 76 during the day. You have to contact him to heat the spa. Stay clear of this host.

A family get together for Papa and his grandsons

This house was beautiful! We got to see dolphins on multiple occasions just sitting on the dock, including a mom and baby that was only a couple feet long! It was for sure one of my favorite vacations. The house had a piano and my mom was able to teach 2 of her grandsons how to play "Fir Elise" it was so much fun! The pool was obviously the kids favorite but mine was the hot tub. My father is disabled and has a walker, he had no problem getting everywhere, including the pool. Thank you so much for sharing your perfect home with us! I would definitely recommend this house. The owners were so friendly and helpful, thank you so much!!!

60th family birthday celebration

Lovely house, excellent location. Just what we were looking for, to dock the boat! Pool area needs a little work, few loose bricks and tiles. Owners responded immediately to any issues. They had been away for a while and the staff left to look after the property had let them down. We had a great week overall.

Beautiful house, nice and quiet neighborhood, close to shopping .

We had a awesome time here soaking up the sun and the kids loved playing in the pool! There where a few hiccups in the beginning of our stay, but the owner and management was right on top of getting everything solved in a timely manner! It was super cool to see the dolphins morning and evening in the channel! So relaxing to sit down by the dock. Wish we could of stayed longer!

Grimy hot tub filled w sand, dirty sheets, dirty kitchen utensils & pans, completely rusted out grill, visiting rat each evening, uncomfortable mattresses. I will not re book under this management team. Nice house & beautiful area just not well cared for. 😞
