"Overall I would describe this property as ok...didn't exceed or overly disappoint. Was some cleanliness issues like spider webs inside in multiple places leading to a spider dropping from the vaulted ceiling onto my mother's head. Which most in the group found funny but she didn't. The beds weren't as comfortable as I would expect from a premium location. 3 of the 4 bedrooms are below grade which caused cool evenings/ mornings in spring months. We were not able to find extra blankets or bedding...

"Our family loved all the upgrades in this house. The kitchen was very nice and the appliances were all new. The bathrooms were clean and all plumbing fixtures were impressive. There was just this one room upstairs that I thought should have some curtains or window treatment for privacy. And a slight snag at check-in, because the snow removal vendor arrived later than the check-in time to shovel the snow from the porch. Overall, our family had a wonderful stay."

"The location was convenient for shops and beaches, but the orientation of the home during the warm season was such that the patios were quite hot in the evenings when we returned from the lake. There is a strict rule to not be outside past 9pm, when the patio and lights were lovely. The cottage was well appointed and clean. The couch and beds were comfortable. "The property was nice for sure and very comfortable. Pros, back looks out to a very peaceful meadow with trees so you really feel like you’re in the mountains. Cons, a little maintenance was needed as the patio table was broken and the bbq was locked up so wasn’t able to use the first night. Easily fixed though. Overall we enjoyed the property. "

"The cabin is 4 bedrooms and compact. Space is used creatively and the cabin accommodated our group perfectly. Easy access to Kings Beach, Tahoe City, mini golf and trails. Owner was responsive and easy to chat with. I would definitely recommend this cabin. The kids loved the karaoke machine and we loved relaxing on the deck with the windows and doors closed so we didn't have to listen!"

"House was wonderful. Big living room to all hang out in, as well as the dining room. Upstairs deck was very enjoyable. All that was missing was the lake view!! No street parking is a bummer; if you have a boat plan ahead! (This is a Tahoe thing, not just this house.) Plenty of space for parking regular vehicles. Close to the best beaches!"

"We loved the house and location next to Alpine! Super clean, nice kitchen and bathrooms. We had one issue with hot water not working and the hosts quickly addressed it having a plumber come by to find a water valve was left on in the garage. Our kids loved the jacuzzi! Our only small gripe: the TV in the living room is way too high, haha. Would be great if they could lower it…we’ll stay again! "

"This was first time in the area, We had most wonderful stay at hodge podge lodge. The house was beautiful and sparking clean, well organized and have everything what we needed for stay. It located in nice neighborhood near soda spring ski resort. The house was warm and cozy , heater was good , wood stove was nice touch with plenty of firewood supplies. The bedroom was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was big plus to have easy in and out drive way to the house. We definitely recommend...
