"Nice place to be, cozy atmosphere clean and tidy and very helpful hosts"

"Great little spot where you have privacy and share common areas like kitchen, bathrooms, showers. The host was helpful and friendly. The pool was great. Peaceful place. We stayed one afternoon-evening before catching our red eye flight back to Hawaii. It was a nice spot to take a nap, enjoy the pool, and freshen up. Would like to go back and check out the tree house! Maybe next time :)"

"Owner was helpful and recommended places to eat or buy food and places to explore in the area"

"We stayed for one night in Oct. 2026. We had a junior suite with a private plunge pool and lots of space. We had our meals there too, which were surprisingly delicious. French and American food choices were available. Since the property was located on a high cliff the views were beautiful. "Poor grounds around the bungalows. All walking paths were dirt. There were no amenities and the breakfast was sparse and not included. Staff was helpful though."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Fare Arihau Vairoo. The room was lovely and comfortable. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming and took care of us as though we were family. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. All the food was prepared by our host from local ingredients mostly grown in their own garden. All the food was exceptional and the service, some from our hosts little girls, was delightful."

"I was staying a week on Mahina's Lodge through out a Covid-19 confinement. Jean and his boyfriend where wonderful host and made sure I got something to eat in this abnormal situation. Would any time come back to stay at Mahina's Lodge. "

"Overall, it was a nice place for our one night stay. Room was nice and cold, but the common areas were hot and muggy which wasn’t ideal to hang around in all day waiting for a flight. The only other area to nitpick was the bathroom in the rooms: small space and door makes maneuvering a hassle. However, close to restaurants, airport and the market."

"Hotellet var virkelig beskidt. Toiletterne var ikke gjort ordentligt rene. Der var hår i poolen, vand på gulvet og genert ulækkert."

"Beautiful and unique little Hotel. We loved our stay."
