"1. Took a very long time to confirm the booking, the reception couldn't see any bookings from Hotels.com. 2. Room looks ok at first glance, but ALOT of dust and filth everywhere, only cleaned the most obvious places. 3. Got hungry around 21:30 and figured we would take our bike from the resort to the night market in Luang Prabang, to our surprise the gate to the hotel area was closed and it was not possible to get out. Nobody from the hotell staff was in the resort and we couldn't reach...

"12 k outside Luang Prabang up a few dusty hill roads nesteled in a green slope lies Hillside Nature Resort. And what a gem this is. Cosy cabins and a very nice restaurant with great local food and more. Add to that a laidback and relaxed atmosphere and you have the perfect settings for some days in a quiet hill retreat. "This hotel is amazing. The staff is great, service is top, good amenities, and good breakfast. The only thing is it’s a bit further from the city, but I enjoyed walking everyday, and we also had a motorbike to go around. The hotel offers shuttle to town too, multiple times per day, but we didn’t use it. Surroundings are stunning, and I watched the sunset from the river next to the hotel. Would book this next time, if/when I go to Luang Prabang again. 10/10."
