"We loved everything about the house and the setting was amazing. The one issue we had was carrying the luggage and groceries down those steep outdoor steps. There are also 17 steps indoors to get to the bedrooms. This should be noted in the description of the property. A person with a disability or a handicap could not stay here. We had an 80 year old and two 76 year olds and the steps were difficult, especially outside.We paid a cleaning fee and I do not feel we should have had to take the...

"The lodge is rustic and quirky and we loved it! The view of Hamilton and the mountains is amazing. It was a great basecamp for our Montana adventures hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and horseback riding. I did miss having a washer and dryer and the ride up to the cabin is an adventure of its own, but those were minor inconveniences. Thanks to John for sharing your awesome lodge!"

"Amazing ski chalet just steps from the lifts, restaurants, and a small grocery. Located centrally, so you can access the entire mountain with ease! Beautifully appointed rooms and full kitchen. On-site staff was marvelous, bringing firewoods and providing trash pick up daily. Simply the perfect place to stay! "

"Comfy home with 3 doored bedrooms and a loft with foosball (cool bonus)! Enjoyed real wood fireplace, heated floors in master, gas fireplace in master, boot / glove drier in garage. You can pull into garage— we had Expedition Max and fit easily.. Beds comfortable. Ski in/out if the snow isn’t sticky. My only issue is not really snowboard in/out. I had to walk about 15 min down the ski out trail to reach enough consistent slope. (Advanced Rider). But I would rent again, the view from this...

"Great property with all the amenities for a group retreat! Enjoyed fire pit at night and hot tub. Kitchen was perfect for group cooking and all items needed for food prep were there. Easy access to shops and Farmer's Market in Big Sky. Definitely a place to return to!"
