"We were the first to rent this property and it did not disappoint! The pictures are exactly as they are in real life, though there is now a shade over the pool to keep it nice and cold throughout the day. The stairs are very steep inside, especially to the downstairs with low headroom but it makes it fun and adds to the uniqueness of the property! "Nice little house on the river in Matagorda. The house was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the back deck looking out over the river and marsh lands. The furiture was comfortable and the house was clean when we got there. We ended up sleeping on the futon in the livingroom because the portable a/c unit in the bedroom was super loud and the bed was super soft in the middle. "We had a great stay at Little Salt. We are a tall couple with a 6' grandson, but we had enough space in the well-planned tiny house. It was great to fish from the back yard and we even took a little time to visit the beach. The community is very friendly and we felt safe. Be sure to do your grocery shopping before you get there. We hope to return soon!"
