"Loved the history of this hotel and the ambience. The rooms were extremely clean and they paid attention to detail and even provided fresh baked cookies on the bed and a little guest bag of forgotten items. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are several restaurants a few doors down in either direction to grab food. There is a speak easy bar on the 2nd floor if you need to see "the doctor". "I reserved a single room,one bed for $125,I was with my wife and my two kids,I was planning to use my own inflatable couch,but my surprise was that the front desk guy and the GM went to my room and asked me if I wanted to get a double suit for an extra fee of $38 ,and of course I said yes(two rooms,two beds,one big living room ,a whole kitchen)everything was amazing,+ the breakfast in the morning (tamales,chorizo with eggs,waffles,coffee....Loved it!!!"
