"Good food was close by, be was comfortable, no fridge or any to purchase on site that we were aware of, ac could only be turned down to 71….it ended up being fine but a tad on the warm side ….all in all good but berate access could’ve been appreciated "

"This place is a total gem! We booked a weekend stay here for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, and let me tell you, they still can’t stop talking about it. "So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. "Charming, well located property. The inn keepers were very helpful and accommodating; they prepared a wonderful to go breakfast complete with snacks for our travels when they learned we had to depart early to catch our flight. The room and bed were very comfortable; best night’s sleep in a very long time. Highly recommend and really hope to come back and stay. "

"My room was large and comfortable with a queen bed, large en-suite bathroom and a computer desk. I also had access to a full kitchen. The house is conveniently located and easy to find."

"Georgia was terrific. There had clearly been some breakdown in conversation about our reservation, so she wasn't prepared for us when we showed up at her door (at around 9 p.m.!), but she quickly accommodated us, providing us with linens/towels, etc. She was a warm and convivial host. Her basement apartment was very private and clean."
