"The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. "Fabulous desert location with included live music and dancing with Touareg. Parking off site, and please do take the 1 1/2 hr camel ride to the camp: it is breathtaking (especially when aiming to arrive 1-2 hours before sundown in the camp). Staff is very capable and welcoming. "

"Empezar contando que nosotros los reservamos para el campamento de Zagora. El dueño del campamento me escribió por whatsapp comentandome que al final en el de Zagora no tenían hueco y me pasaron al de Tagounite (60 km mas abajo de Zagora). El campamento está una duna bastante grande, alejado de la carretera a 16 km de Tagounite. Está decorado bastante bien para estar en medio del desierto, tienen agua y electricidad. El baño estaba un poco sucio, pero nada importante, toral para pasar una noche...

"This is a tent camp 15 minutes outside of Zagora. The location on Expedia is wrong; you need to go to the listed address which is in a small alley. When you get there, they will try to upsell you on camel rides or dinner. Make sure to agree on the dinner price because you might be stuck once you get to camp. The tents are very nice with comfortable beds, hot showers and a flushing toilet. The dining tent is heated. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Just make sure to negotiate prices...

"The property accepted our 2-night reservation 2 months ago but they were closed when we arrived. We had to find another lodging option on the spot. Not even an apology from the owner that we could contact on the phone. Terrible experience! "

"Everything was really good. The tends were comfortable and the food was excellent. The only issue I had was that during the night was really cold and there was no heater."

"We had to stay one night in Ourzozate in our way to Marakech. Badr was the reception and he is nice and helpful in any ways. He did his best to make our stay great. The apartment is in great condition and a cafe next to it. We had dinner and breakfast over there. We enjoyed our meals. "

"Absolutely wonderful! We have stayed in 10 different places in Morroco and this was by far our favorite place. The apartment was spacious and very clean. In contrast to many of the other hotels and riads in the area, this is owned by locals. The pool was perfect and the staff extremely helpful. We had no difficulties despite not being able to speak French or Arabic. "

Would not recommend

"Honestly the most terribly hotel experience I have had for a long while! The service in the reception and bar was downright rude. They literally yelled at me and were visibly annoyed when I asked or ordered something. I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t speak French or they just all hate their jobs but people like this should work in the hospitality business. The breakfast was also so bad that I just took a coffee and an orange and left the rest. The hotel is cheap so I didn’t expect much but that doesn’t excuse downright hostile behaviour from the staff."
