"We had a great time! There is so much to do - kayaking, swimming in the pool, fishing. Great places to eat in Douglas, too! The house is obviously tiny, so it's kind of like camping with a TV, toilet and shower which was fun. There is no real space to just hang out inside for more than two people but as long as the weather is nice, you will not want to be inside anyway! Sam was so nice and so were his boys! Our two boys had a great time with his sons and the guests in the adjacent bungalow...

"This is a 10/10 place, loved everything about it the host is very kind they truly make sure you’re comfortable! The walk to the lake is beautiful you can watch the sun set and rise and very pet friendly if your dogs like to run outside in an open field we will be back!!!"

"Needed a last minute place to stay that had a large kitchen for a local wedding I was catering. I could not have asked for better! This place was amazing and beautiful!! We certainly plan to book again for pleasure and not work so we can fully enjoy all this place has to offer. I will say there was nothing like waking up with that sunrise over the water, stunning!! "It was beautiful. We had 9 people in our group and there was plenty of room. The kids enjoyed the pool table. We all had our own rooms. Which were nicely decorated with hunting items. It was hot but, there are swings, patio setting, and a wooden play right across fom the house. We had a wonderful stay."

"Every element of this adorable little cabin was thoughtful, and comfortable. We stayed here while our Helene home reconstruction was happening, the cabin had everything we needed, and I mean everything! Our pups loved the spacious backyard running and playing all day! Sitting in the rocker on the porch, listening to all the sounds of nature, was just peaceful. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all and still have all the comforts of home, this is the place!!! "
