"Staying at the Mirror House was amazing. The house is uniquely divided with the mirror living area overlooking a pond and the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom underground. The mirror room has a calming effect which lends itself to enjoyable conversations over your favorite refreshment. In our case it was a nice glass of wine which was provided by the owners of the property. The room is so well done that the birds and animals don't seem to mind you are there. "We enjoyed our stay. Being only 15 minutes from places to eat, we had total privacy and quiet. The surrounding forest and nearby river are great and make you feel like you have escaped somewhere. Plenty of room for a family of four with a loft and a private room. Living space was nicely setup. If you want to prep your own meals during a stay, this place has all that you would need. Coffee maker, grinder, and some coffee were there. A dishwasher was excellent. A washer and drier on site make it...

"We booked this place as a bed and breakfast. No breakfast. No staff on site. No information was provided at the hotel to help us find things in the area. We were not informed that this was a "self check in hotel" until after the cancellation date. Calling the Heritage office (off site) for assistance was useless as the staff could not answer our questions. The common areas were sparsely furnished and shabby. The outside deck area hadn't been swept in quite a while. The deck furniture was in...

"Used coffee cups in dining area...no breakfast...owner said that he would compensate for that but there was no one to check us out the next morning with no compensation...shame that an historic inn is falling through the cracks...I definitely would not stay there again..."

"We loved our stay at the chalet. It's perfectly situated in the cutest little neighborhood, while also feeling very secluded. The chalet had everything we needed for our stay. While visiting we walked a few of the trails nearby, part of the Valley Trail and the Hoot, Toot and Whistle. They were both perfect for our pups, especially during hunting season. We gave our pups an extra squeeze in honor of Scarlet. Thank you for sharing your place with us! We would love to stay again!!"

"The pictures for this house looked great, but it was even better in person. It was an excellent place to relax and enjoy nature, while having all the comforts of a beautiful house. We were even able to see the Northern Lights, with nearly no light pollution. I would highly recommend, and I am hoping to return sometime. 5☆"
