"This place looks as of it uses to be a big deal, today it is rather worn out, with a bit of a "paranormal movie" spirit - especially in the basement department, but also on the main floor. This is to some extent also the case for the resturant/pool area, where the sauna, some of the toilets and dressing rooms are in a sad state. The pool itself appeared nice, and the fitness as well. However many locals kids and families use the pool, meaning there is a lot of noise as the whole village is...

"Awesome view"

"Lovely view. Good bed and linens. Nowhere to hang clothes and no appropriate shelves or desk… Time for thoughtful refurbishing."

"We loved our stay at Cabinas Jimenez. The room was super nice and with efficient AC and fans, the location is quiet and right by the water, we loved that we could just borrow the kayaks, and the staff was helpful and had great recommendations for what to see and where to eat. On top of that we could store both our car and luggage while we visit Corcovado. Highly recommend."

"Fantastic hotel on the edge of Corcovado. Lots of wildlife to observe on the lodge’s private paths. Warm welcome from the friendly staff and help and smiles throughout the visit. Peaceful restaurant with traditional tican breakfast inkluded and possible to have lunch and dinner there as well."

"Our stay at Bosque del Cabo Rain Forest Lodge was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the extremely friendly staff made us feel instantly welcome. They provided helpful tips for the walks and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our time in the rainforest. The tours were highly professional, and we were fortunate to have Carlos as our guide - he was outstanding. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to spot incredible wildlife such as a potoo and a sloth during the nature...

"We loved our stay at Cabinas Tropicales! We had a big room with private bathroom that easily housed us and our two medium sized dogs. JeanCarlos the manager was super friendly and helpful, and we also chatted with the nice cleaner who had a great dog named Fiona who wore a helmet and goggles to come to work in the morning. The shared kitchen was well-stocked and the fridge available for our food. The property is gated so the dogs could wander around. The location of Cabinas Tropicales is...

"Our stay was beyond our expectations! The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The property was absolutely stunning. Our bungalow was perfect, clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed being disconnected from the outside world and amercing ourselves in nature. The hiking trails, animals and beautiful ocean was truly a gift. Thank you to Joel, Olga and Henah! We will be back! "

"Great place with great staff! The beach in front has amazing sand (no rocks) and gentle waves. Food was delicious and tours were super easy to book."
