"A great place to stay. We were welcomed from arrival and our hosts were friendly and helpful. A small supermarket was only a 2 minute walk. We hired a 2 person scooter to get around and enjoy the island and this is a great way to explore. Snorkelling is a few kms away but fantastic. We would certainly recommend Tropical Sands and hope to go back some day "

"For the price paid, the apartment was not ready for us to check in and we spent over an hour waiting for the cleaner to finish. The cleanliness wasn’t great either. There were no washing liquid and kitchen towels. The pillows and beddings looked like they were not washed either. The floors weren’t mopped as we could still see dirt on the tiles. "

"Either this property does not exist and is a scam, or impossibly difficult to find. At 10 pm at night after our flight arrived into Nadi we drove around the area in a taxi for 30 mins around the street advertised (Transville St Nadi) knocked on doors, fended off dogs, asked locals where the place was and no one knew. The taxi driver had never heard of the place. My wife is suffering from Huntingtons disease and my 11 year old on his first overseas trip was in tears. Exhausted and stressed, we...

"The place is about a 20-minute walk from the city centre. The walk itself doesn’t feel very safe — we saw several homeless people acting strangely and even police dealing with a fight. I wouldn’t recommend walking alone, especially in the evening.We stayed two nights. The first night was very difficult to sleep because roosters started crowing around 10 p.m. and continued until morning. "The apartment was lovely. It has a balcony that provides a view of the lagoon as well as beautiful sunsets. It is close to a small shopping center and is in walkable distance to the town center. Above all, I am profoundly appreciative of the host, Teiva, who was communicative, incredibly helpful, kind, and thoughtful, He is one to go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. I highly recommend staying at this property. "

"Great unit with ample space and good facilities. As everywhere in Fiji, the staff was super kind and helpful. Note that the resort is stretched out along the coast. So you have to factor in time for walking or using the complimentary shuttle microbus or golf cart transfers. Only issues: our unit was on the ground floor and had a lot cockroaches. Mostly small, but they kept coming. Also, because we were there in the humid season (early April), the aircondition led to wet floors due to condensation. Not great building design."
