"Very beautiful Inn. The rooms are very clean and quiet. There are lots of sitting areas on the property, and a pier that you can walk out on to view the bay. The breakfast was wonderful. There is a small bar downstairs, but we weren't sure if it was in operation. The check-in was a bit awkward. "I’ve stayed at the Salamander countless times over the years, both before and after the switch from the Mandarin Oriental, and I’ve always had a good experience. Unfortunately, this stay was really disappointing. As soon as I got to my room, I noticed a huge makeup stain on one of the beds. I called the front desk right away, and they had the sheets changed, but once I noticed that, I started seeing other things too. "Wonderful facility. Enjoyed the on site amenities. The garden was an interesting twist.Stayed in the Barn, a little tight for two people but well designed space. I would recommend if in the area."
