Although we knew about this in advance-we had read about small spaces in Japanese hotels in magazine before our trip to Japan. One the other hand, we loved traditional atmosphere."

"We stayed 2 weeks in Japan and this was the nicest place we stayed in. The common areas where very comfortable and spacious, so if you're planning to hangout at the hotel a bit, it's a good choice. You can bring your own food and drinks too. The hotel also had showers in the common area, very clean, with a good area to dry your hair or put your make up on before leaving. We used it when the other person in our group was napping, so we didn't have to bother them with noise and such."
