"First of all - the VIEW. We literally gasped! The cabin was spacious, extremely clean, well appointed with comfortable furniture (the beds were FANTASTIC), and they had the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen at a rental. Communication with the owner was quick and easy and they were extremely helpful/ had great local advice. There is a great little walk down to the lake too that we all really enjoyed. If I find myself in this area again I know exactly where I'll be staying!"

"Our cruise was cancelled so we flew into Anchorage and booked this home. Gary met us at the door and showed us around. The house was perfect and beautiful. It was about 1 1/2 hrs from Anchorage and 1 hr from Seward. We were able to see sites in Seward and in the area. We would have loved to stay longer but we had other commitments. "Beautiful property on big lake with stunning Mt views. Swans with 7 cygnets and loons calling on the tranquil lake this morning. Also lots of fish jumping in evening and morning. Would have loved to kayak but ran out of time. New owner Greg gives great customer service and communication. The VRBO website was messed up tho and did not get good customer service from their phone staff in Africa."

"If anyone in your party has mobility issues this property has stairs and upper and lower levels. Be careful of low ceilings in lower and upper level bedrooms are sloped ceilings.
