"We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. The stairs were a bit scary, but with the light on, you'll be fine. :) Cozy spot for the three of us, well appointed and in a fantastic area. Very walkable, even down to the wharf. We are from a very non-walkable area, so it was amazing to see all the activity and places we could go just walking a bit. We enjoyed our first time in Maine, and can't wait to get back for a longer trip. Thanks to the hosts!"

"This was a great spot for a weekend away! The unit is well equipped with higher end finishes and furnishings which makes the u it well worth visiting. The roof deck was a lovely addition as well! We left on Sunday so was happy to be able to move the car close to the unit Saturday evening to make packing a breeze."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to walk to the Eastern Promenade. The beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Very cute and cozy There are stairs to enter the building for anyone with mobility issues. If you are unfamiliar with older buildings, the radiators do make some noise while heating in the winter."

"It was a last minute mini vacation and we were very happy to find a place on Atlantic Ave. Being off season it was relatively quiet which we were looking for. We rented the 1st floor, very clean, quite spacious, we loved the front sunroom for morning and back sunroom for sunsets. Weather was nice enough for us to sit out back in the afternoon. Bed comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. It is a 2 unit rental so the only downside was the upstairs had a tenant with young children that had a...

"Great location near many restaurants. Walking distance to everything we wanted. Well equipped apartment ideal for two adults. It's worth noting that the parking isn't on site. It's about a 3-4 minute walk around the block. This isn't a problem if you aren't carrying a lot of things back and forth. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"We visited the Portland museum of art and spent a winter ice storm afternoon at the Washington Baths. Ate good food, caught up about all the things. The space was wonderful and airy and warm and lovely!"

"WOW! What an adorable 2 bedroom with everything you could possibly need! Very clean with a great ambiance! Check-in was a breeze upon arrival. Comes with a parking spot! A great location with so many good coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and a walkable distance down to the pier and shopping. Megan and Jason were so easy to work with and terrific welcoming hosts! They made you feel at home and were super helpful! When we make it back to Maine, we will be staying here again! Thank you! :)"

"It was the best view of Casco Bay and such a unique home. Beautiful accommodations that are both historic yet updated for comfort and convenience. Our host was phenomenal! So friendly…we thought he was one of our neighbors from Louisiana (not just because of his homemade hot sauce that he sent home with us, but more importantly because of his hospitality!)"

"This is a lovely little apartment, and we were very comfortable. I agree with the owner’s statement about the steps being steep; there is no landing at the top of these steps. We brought smaller bags, and that helped! I wouldn’t attempt this with a baby or a toddler. Everybody else: enjoy!"

"Ryan's house/apartment was perfectly located for us in terms of proximity to the Old Port area of Portland AND a large park to walk our dog in. I am recovering from major surgery and low demand exercise was critical to that recovery. Ryan's house filled all our needs. One consideration. The apartment (spacious - just as described) is on the second floor so climbing one flight of stairs is required to access the living space."

"The home was as described there was a front porch with seating. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, he was very helpful and even introduced me to the neighbors. Traveling as a single woman I felt very safe and would recommend this home to anyone that is traveling alone. I definitely will stay there the next time I’m in Portland."

"Amazing marsh views. Just a few steps from the beach. A short walk to so many restaurants. The unit itself was super clean and exactly as advertised. The kitchen had EVERYTHING you could need and all of it was brand new. (Utensils, pans, pots, coffee maker w/filters, spices, spatulas, whisks etc) The bed was comfy. The A/C worked (it wasn’t super hot while we were there but we like to sleep with it on and it was perfect) There was ample storage space and great beach chairs and towels....

"Property was as described...clean and comfortable. Grocery store within 10 minutes or so to stock up... Short walk and up and over the dune and on the beach! Only downside is no a/c....but that's clearly stated in the property description. Plenty of room fans! We'd definitely stay again!"

The entrance/stairway to the apartment didn't give a good impression, but inside it was clean and functional, if again in need of a modern refurb. We were only one night and had a wedding party near us, which was not good as they were out on the balconies around us until 3am drinking/talking loudly.
