"No wi-fi and no tv were two of the main perks. The dark skies and end of the road location were the main attraction. The nearby hiking trails and endless beauty were the surprise. The desert had just had rain so it was blooming everywhere (luck, not good timing) which added to the awe. The room was dated but clean and neat. Only disappointment was that the restaurant was being remodeled so the option was a food truck. AS someone who has lived nearly 40 years in Texas, I was surprised and...

"Charming motel and nice grounds. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Food truck had very tasty options. It was nice to grab our supper from the truck along with a couple beers from the bar and hang out on the deck. We will stay here again when back in the area."

"Staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very spacious! Loved having the balcony. Breakfast was decent, but it was very warm in the office area. Parking was tricky for a large vehicle."
