"Cottage is located close to commercial/industrial area and a golf course. Nice view. Stayed there for one night, 4 persons (3 adults and a teenager), which worked quite well. There's a grocery story, pharmacy, manned gas station and Thai restaurant/take out place within a couple of kilometers. Clean, new, well-kept cottage, but not super large - it worked really well for a one night stay and could have worked for a night or two more, but not for a longer stay. "Quiet, peaceful, beautiful property. Communication with the owner was prompt and very helpful with questions we had. A small self-serve store on site was a bonus convenience. This is a great location if you are wanting to access the Highland areas of Landmannalauger or Maelifell (we did both from here) or some of the beautiful waterfalls along the South Coast (Seljalandsfoss, Gljufrabui, Skogafoss, Nauthusagil, Kvernafoss).
