"Our hotel stay was ok. On the plus side, the staff were extremely helpful and sweet, and the location was fantastic. We stayed on the quiet side of the building, away from the on-ramp/traffic. On the minus side- some kind of system (ventilation?) was in overdrive and the bathroom door rattled in its frame as a result - only really noticeable in the bathroom. The doors have seen better days and the breakfast cafe patio was dirty/ used for storage, not guests, as in the photos. Breakfast was a fiasco - understaffed and inefficient. Seating, order taking, beverages, and eventually food took 30-40 minutes. Food was poor quality and lacking any form of presentation. We were so disappointed that we canceled our hotel breakfast the following morning and went to one of the many great diners in the neighbourhood instead. Front desk staff had no problem accommodating the request for a refund. They also helped us to find transportation to our next stop, so things ended on a positive note. "
