Definitely needs improvements. Safety: Back/side door had sign that exterior door locked 24/7 - it was not. The safety latch on our door had holes as if recently moved. Exterior door and bathroom door missing flap and had about 1 inch gap. Check in: Needed the last 4 of my credit card I used to reserve on Expedia even though not prepaid. Pillows were the thinnest ever; only one small light on wall in between beds. The wall behind tv does not look like picture. Strange brown board with a vertical mirror 5 inches wide. Shower did look new, hot water, clean new shower curtain, drapes looked new; pool closed (seems typical in this area), commercial vehicles in parking lot; had bagels and cold cereal; looked like frozen waffles thawed that you could toast; very small area and was dirty with coffee spills and sugar. No one at front desk when checking out. No hair dryer in room - waited 45 mins and had to call a second time. Beds were comfortable, no obvious black mold, looked like bugs in bathroom ceiling light fixture but didn’t see any live bugs. Smell of chemicals in stairway but the carpets seemed ok. Old heat/air system with controls at window vs wall thermostat but worked fine. Based on the 2 hotels in Delaware this was one step up. Next time I will try Polaris for a OWU visit. The Hampton inn next to us seemed to have no hot water. Holiday inn is to right but twice the cost. Huge sign on building under new management. Starbucks convenient
