"The cottage is extremely cosy and perfectly located. As soon as you turn onto the farm you’re met with a gorgeous view of the barn with its thatched roof and each section gets its own lovely private outdoor dining area! I’ve stayed here a few times now and every time the place has been spotless, cosy and easy to access. The decor is tasteful and traditional with some gorgeous period features. The hosts have also been very friendly! Can’t wait to stay again!"

"I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return."

"We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. I went prepared with all the usual kitchen essentials but found that it was not needed. Dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, it was all there. "This is a really lovely cottage with everything you could possibly need in the property. It is very well maintained and the welcome pack of homemade bread and jam, eggs ,orange juice and crisps was delicious. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Jean and Brian are really good hosts and we would look at retuning in the future. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Rubblestone Cottage. The cottage was warm and comfortable, with everything we needed. A cosy living room with a window that looks over the meadow, which allows you to watch the visiting wildlife. Main bedroom was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food and the owner provides a great list of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. "Beautiful wood framed 18th (I think)Century timber- framed cottage It is really cosy (but not small) with an interesting staircase leading up to up to the two bedrooms where the old roof- timbers are exposed . Bathroom & shower bathroom is conveniently situated near to the bedrooms on the first floor. Open fireplace downstairs & parking space off the road.. Perfect! We would love to stay again soon."

"The place was spacious and made an excellent base for exploring the Suffolk area whilst being really quiet. Shower wasn't great but they'd provided all the utensils you'd need for cooking and enjoying your stay. Bed had a rubber cover and there was a noisy liner under the bed sheet which made it very warm but it was comfortable. Decor and furnishings are fairly budget but it's good value and ultimately a nice space to relax and enjoy the evening after a day out exploring and walking."

"We had a very good three night break at Candy Cottage. The cottage had everything we expected and parking was easy and convenient. I'm not sure if I missed reading about it, but the shower room was located downstairs, which wasn't great if we needed the loo in the night as the stairs are quite steep - however this wouldn't stop us booking this lovely little cottage for future visits to Suffolk."
