"This is an excellebt plot with enclosed garden, great with dogs and your own gate onto the beach. The views are stunning when the tide is in you are just several steps from getting into the sea, which is surprisingly blue and warmed up quickly on a sunny day. People were swimming in it in May although i think i would have wanted a short sleeved wet suit before making thd plunge. Lodge itself great, very well appointed...if going with dogs make sure to take towels as cream carpet a bit concerning...

"Really away from it all location which made travel a bit longer but so worthwhile. Large comfortable warm lodge with loads of stuff for young kids, masses of space inside and out and brilliant old style bedrooms. Lovely, helpful available onsite housekeepers. Great trip, totally worth the drive."

"We just loved our stay at Saltwater Chronicles. Beautiful, newly decorated lodge with a brilliant view of the sea. We loved walking along the rocks, exploring the caves, walking up through the stunning green glen to the impressive waterfalls. The two lochs are so pretty. Every member of the team we encountered on the estate was friendly and welcoming. The meals we ordered from the kitchen were delicious. Communications were quick and helpful. We can’t wait to return."
