"The grounds are beautiful and the staff is so friendly. The mechanics are a bit old, which is good to keep in mind when placed in a room near the elevator. It’s not horrible but definitely noticeable. Additional small touches to the room would make a huge difference. There are few places in the bathroom to hang your things and no furniture to unpack into. There is also a lot of empty wall space in the room where shelves or wall hooks would be super helpful."

"Front desk staff was great. Cute store with Upper Peninsula gear near the front desk. Room and bathroom were clean. Bathroom is showing its age, and the pool was not in service while we were there. Easy access to I-75/bridge and easy drive to grocery store, but not within walking proximity to downtown."
