"Staff was great, very helpful. Motel was clean, for the price the best in the area, as area is overpriced. "

"The hotel looks great from the outside with the big logs creating a feeling of a warm place to take your loved one. The inside is a very different story. No lodge feeling there and our room was filthy. Dirt in the corners, coffee maker had not been cleaned and there was dirty underwear from former guests laying in the room Safe to say we will not be booking this place again"

"A hidden gem. Remarkable and unique motel with the best view in Mackinaw City. Rooms are decorated in charming bear theme and have everything you need. The mini fridge is big and even has a good size freezer to put ice packs in. My only complaint is that the sink doesn’t have any room to put toiletries or my flat iron."

"We selected the Rainbow Motel for its high rating but after checking in, it became apparent that the rating system needs to be updated to enable a higher rating. This motel is in the style of a 1960’s roadside motel but I feel like I was the first person to stay in it. So clean and well maintained. Laura, who checked us in was a sweetheart. "

"This is one of our favorite hotels in Mackinaw City over the past 20 years. The staff has always gone all out to help us with our reservations. This year was no exception due to my mistake in making the reservation I intended to stay two nights but I showed up the day before the first day by mistake. I was able to add the night I arrived after working with the desk staff and Expedia so we were able to stay the two nights we needed."
