"I booked a two night stay at this historic Inn. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations and I had to cut my stay short. The bathroom was in such bad repair and smelled like sewage that I refused to use it, which is why we chose to leave after only one night. The place has great potential and the staff is very sweet, but the place is dilapidated and in serious need of repair especially the bathroom of the Jefferson suite. "The property was breathtakingly beautiful. We were greeted by smiling staff with a glass of champagne to be shown around the main house. Our room was just steps from the lobby and dining areas which was convenient, however, we did have to keep the blinds drawn most of the time as all our windows (including the bathroom) faced the front parking lot. "The Inn was on a lovely property near a river walk. An amazing ale house is also on the property. Very quaint and comfortable. Games, books and a front porch swing were provided. Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. The Breakfests were exceptional with delightful farm fresh eggs and produce. Overall it was a very relaxing and fun getaway. A side note that Sperryville is a weekend town there was not much to do during the week. "
