"Fabulous! Clean and well appointed throughout. Plenty of space for seven adults and a dog to gather and spread out. Beautiful rural property which is a surprisingly short drive to town. This one was hard to leave on our last day. The hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. Always just a call away when we had a question. We’d love to stay here again. "

"Great spaces for gathering, 5 bedrooms, clean, so well equipped with many extra amenities, beautiful windows, much natural light, great outdoor space, fabulous well equipped kitchen. Loved it!! "

"We so enjoyed the views, weather, and deck. We spent a majority of the time sitting out on the deck visiting (although we did sneak in a few games of pool which was a riot!). We loved seeing the barges, trains, and wildlife. The kitchen had everything you could need and more! We slept great on the comfy beds. It was a lovely stay - we hope to be back!"

"I ended up not staying at the property due to my personal issue. The host worked with me and was good to communicate with. In area for family wedding. If a small town feeling is what you want, this property might be what you want. The house is very pretty from the outside. I never went inside, again due to my personal reasons, but the host’s prior reviews would indicate it is as she has depicted the property. "

"This was a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We were in the area for a long weekend of exploring the bluff country on bicycles and motorcycles and Houston is a good central point to take off from. The house itself was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. It could use a little more seating but is overall a great place to stay."

"This was a very quaint, well kept little house, and it was perfect for our group and the best part was that it had a first class trout stream right in the backyard. And we actually caught a few fish. Loved this place and would like to go there again."
