"After a full day of kayaking this was perfect for what we needed. Location was amazing and we even got to see live music by the water. It was nice to be steps away from the grocery store, coffee and many restaurant options. Place was decorated with a cosey feeling. We stayed only one night before heading to Madeline Island to to go camping, so having a comfy place to stay was sooo nice. It was like staying at a hotel but much more homey. The host was very helpful and responsive to our questions."

"This was a very nice place for our stay at the Apostle islands. I gave five stars for everything except for the location. Somehow, I expected to see the lake from the condo, but it is in the woods. That didn’t matter though because it was fine in every other way. We would book it again if we come back to Bayfield. "

"Was staying there with my senior citizen mother, brother & his wife & daughters (teen girls), sister, myself & 2 children (8/12). We maxed out capacity but all had plenty of room, never felt cramped. It was walkable from the ferry and had plenty of parking behind it, the view from the deck by the entrance was fantastic."

"My wife and I rented the suite for three nights during the Apple festival. Everything was as described in the listing. The suite is located on the ground level of a three story house. It has a walkout patio that overlooks Lake Superior. Property was super clean and well equipped. Bed is comfortable and big. The only shortcoming was lack of true kitchen which we were aware of so it wasn’t a surprise. Apartment is equipped with a small kitchenette with no sink and cabinets. All utensils and...

"Die zwei Ferienwohnungen sind einfach fantastisch! Wir hatten die Nr. 2, die einen Balkon zum See hat. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an Garnichts. (Großer Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Gasgrill (Überdacht, direkt vor der Eingangstür). Eine Feuer- und Badestelle befinden sich im Gartenbereich. Wir hatten einen sehr, sehr netten Kontakt zum Besitzer, der im Haupthaus wohnt. Wir haben zusammen am Feuer gesessen und ein sehr netten Gespräch geführt....

The school itself had sold out of its rooms on their property so I needed to look for my own accommodations.The Suite Three at La Pointe Lodging was just perfect, only one block from the ferry and a quick 1-1/2 mile drive to the Madeline Island School. The room was bright, clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. My experience could not have been better."
