This location is quiet and close to both the town and state park beaches and hikes. It was everything we were looking for. "The cabin is super cute with a great porch setting. Two issues we had as two couples staying here: 1) Upstairs loft “bedroom” is not private or soundproof. 2) A card table or another small table indoors would be helpful when the weather doesn’t allow porch access or to work on a puzzle (porch table is wrought iron with holes in it). The bathrooms and kitchen are updated and very nice. Also, the living room and fireplace are comfy and cozy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here! Bayfield is close by...

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Acorn so much! The cabin has everything you need and more for a comfortable, relaxing, and fun time! Kristin welcomed us and our pups with open arms and treated us like friends she has known forever. Her willingness to offer any and all advice for the area, her prompt communication, and her genuine caring for our best interest made her a perfect host! We enjoyed many of the amazing adventures in the area, but we also spent a fair amount of time listening...

"The cabin was clean. The shower had hot water and the towels were soft. The bed was very firm. The kitchen was well equipped. The view was beautiful. The drive into Bayfield was very nice. No complaints! "

"Early in the infancy of this destination resort for quiet, meditation and the arts, they are still building and planting so be prepared for a little dust but absolutely worth it. I look forward to returning next year and hope they will continue to strengthen the yoga and/or wellness programs. Delightful!"
