"The Marcus Whitman is a great place to stay as it is within walking distance of most everything in the downtown area. My only negative comment was about the bathrooms. The sink is a pedestal and there is no place to put anything except some narrow shelves. I had to put some of my things on the bathroom floor. A small chest or even just simple shelves would make storing your things so much easier."

"Great hotel and for our overnight stay in Spokane. Close to the Riverwalk area, restaurants, and activities. There are homeless people in the area so need to keep aware when you're out. Parking garage is off site so about a 1-2 block walk to the hotel. TIP: Use the loading zone parking spots to load and unload so you're not having to walk your luggage between the hotel and the garage."
