"Sadly, this property didn't live up to how it was presented online. When we got there, we were surprised to find that the property wasn't a house but rather a converted former college faculty housing unit (this is problematic because we travel with our dogs). The housing unit sits on the former Sue Bennett College campus and some of the buildings are vacant and run down. "The apartment was very close to the Red River Gorge Geological area. Main Hwy and access hwy right out front. Noise from the traffic was buffered by the shrubs covering the front porch. Very small town area, so if you need to go to a larger Dept store or grocery takes a little bit of a trip, but not too far. Nice quaint Coffee shop and Restaurant close by. "It was a very nice, clean apartment. Everything we needed was there. Very quiet. Once you find where it’s located it’s easy to get to. It is a second floor apartment so there are stairs to climb. Some people may need to know that. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Very easy driving distance to Paintsville which was great for us. We recommend staying!"
