"The property was mostly as represented on the VRBO listing.It was pretty clean (some of the area rugs needed to washed or vacuumed and some of the floor hadn't been swept.) There was plenty of light, both natural and lighting in the cottage. The location was secluded and private. I didn't like that how far from things didn't seem accurately represented. The 2nd bedroom was misrepresented by a different view of the 1st bedroom. The 2nd bedroom wasn't as private since the kitchen had a window that...

"This cabin is so very close to everything you might want to do: kayaking, hiking, zip lining, horseback riding, and the Gorge Underground. 3 of us came for an extended Girl's Weekend and had a blast. The host was very responsive to any needs we had. Tips: at the time of our trip the TV would not work (no WiFi connection) nor was there a DVD player. "Whole house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with showers (no tubs). Appears to have bben recently refurbed for Air B-n-B type rental. Nicely stocked kitchen with coffee, spices, etc. Combo washer/dryer is a little small for the number of people it sleeps but they work fine and there were laundry supplies provided. Living room furniture looks good but could be a little more comfortable. Convenient to lots of Red River Gorge activities, etc. Stayed 3 nights. Looking at a return trip and will stay...

"We enjoyed our weekend at the cozy cottage on the Cumberland gap. The only thing I would improve on is the bed that is very creaky. Also communication was minimal. I couldn’t see the links given in the message and the hosts didn’t respond to my question. All good though because it was just as pictured. "
